MARSHALL LAW To Re-Record 'Axis Of Power' Tracks With New Lineup

September 5, 2006

According to a posting on Rockdetector.com, long-running U.K. metallers MARSHALL LAW will scrap much of their recently recorded "Axis of Power" CD and will re-record the best tracks from it with the group's new lineup, featuring the group's latest addition, guitarist Dave Rothan.

MARSHALL LAW vocalist Andy Pyke contacted Rockdetector.com after the band's recent U.K. tour with STEEL TORMENTOR. "The LAW gigs went really well" he said. "Only Manchester was poorly attended — 75. All the rest rocked we had a mega stage invasion in Glasgow, Scotland. We have a Bloodstock festival warm-up show on the 15th September and then Bloodstock on the 29th. We will be giving out demos and showcasing new material written by me, Dave Martin and Dave Rothan. Song titles — 'The Chamber' and 'Razorhead'. Most of the 'Axis of Power' stuff will be shelved and we will take the best tracks and record with the new line-up."

MARSHALL LAW has been recording "Axis of Power" since June 2003. The band lineup at present:

Andy Pyke - Vocals
Dave Martin - Guitar
Dave Rothan (ex-GRAHAM BONNET band) - Guitar
Tom Dwyer - Bass
Peter Hunt (ex-DRAGONFORCE) - Drums
